I recently visited Loughview Health, and I couldn't be more pleased with the care I received. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and efficient, making the check-in process smooth and stress-free. Dr. Austin took the time to listen to my concerns, asked all the right questions, and made me feel genuinely heard. What I appreciated most was their clear communication — everything was explained in a way that was easy to understand, without rushing or using too much medical jargon.

Generally fine, the recovery floor post cesarean seemed very busy and understaffed. Felt like from all the money we all pay, they could afford to hire more staff. Once we waited 2 hours for water to be sent to the room. The room was cleaned only once during a 2 night/3 day stay, and the small room was full of finished trays despite us calling for clean up. I was given a change of hospital gown once. Every time I pressed the call button, it took forever for someone to show up.

Can't fault Mr Allen or physio, however I was disappointed with other issues. Wrong lunch, changed room the night after my operation received breakfast at 9.30 the following morning because no one told the kitchen I had been moved. I had to contact the nurse to tell her I was starving. Previous patient 's medication left in the room.

My second time using Nuffield Shrewsbury and returned due to how lovely and helpful the staff are. Very easy to contact anyone at reception if I had any concerns or questions. On discharge the team were really helpful and was in and out in no time without feeling rushed.
