Welcome to Bath Clinic
Set in an area of outstanding beauty, Bath Clinic is renowned for providing excellent, and fast access, to diagnosis and treatment for routine and complex conditions.
Previously known as BMI Bath Clinic, we are now part of the Circle Health Group.
In 2022, we celebrated 40 years of providing independent healthcare to our patients, providing the high quality, safe and compassionate care, our patients need and expect.
We are constantly investing in our Clinic to ensure we offer first class facilities in our private hospital. Currently we are increasing the number of theatres from three to four to meet the demand of our patients. To enhance our Centre of Excellence in Joint Replacement, our pioneering Mako® robotic-arm. system is an another investment we have made, allowing an advancement in the way orthopaedic surgeons can perform partial and full hip and knee replacements at Bath Clinic.
We are delighted to be able to announce that following an unannounced inspection by the CQC, we have now been rated GOOD in all areas that were previously identified as requiring improvement.

I made my appointment request through the Vitality app and received a message telling me the Bath Clinic would contact me to arrange a date and time for the appointment. Several days passed with no word from the clinic. I contacted Bath Clinic in the end to check progress and they had no record of my appointment request that I had made through the Vitality app. I had to make the appointment myself and now have to obtain the original referral letter to send them. Either the Vitality app hasn't worked, or the clinic lost my details - overall it's been a very frustrating process, compounded by having to wait more than 3 weeks for the next available appointment with Dr Walker - I am unable to go back through the app and select another doctor for my referral. The benefit of the Vitality coverage has been negligible and I have had to rely on the NHS to get tests, feedback and treatment. Overall very disappointed with the convoluted Vitality healthcare system. My experience with other private healthcare providers has been much smoother.

All the staff were very professional and reassuring. I felt nothing was too much trouble and that they really wanted to help me pre and post op. I would definitely choose Bath Clinic again.

Great hospital, some of the rooms are looking a bit weathered compared to other Circle hospitals (to be fair the only one I can compare it with is Reading Circle). Would have liked a greater choice of food in evening, more cooked than sandwich and maybe a soft drink. Staff were incredible which is the most important thing and felt the hospital was clean

All the staff were very welcoming and supportive. My husband thought the staff were professional and was very appreciative of the reception staff’s help with parking. The care I received was of a very high standard and nothing was too much trouble. As a retired nurse this was wonderful to experience and I very much appreciated it.
