Best midwifery team ever! They were very kind and responsive, never made it look busy. The nursery service is also great if you want to have a few more hours of sleep per night.

Good morning, I am writing to say a huge thank you to all of the staff who work on the Stanley Clayton ward. After spending 5 nights there (21st March- 26th March) with a more complicated birth than expected, every single member of staff during that time made the experience so much calmer and easier for me. Everyone was so kind, supportive and offered assistance at all times. From all the midwives who looked after me 24 hours a day to the brilliant support staff who helped me shower when I thought I’d never be able to. In particular, I would like to give a special thanks to Amber. Even before my birth, Amber was super supportive at all midwife appointments and put my mind at ease in every way that she could. When told on Saturday I’d need a c section, Amber was by my side reassuring me in every way possible. In the lead up to my unexpected c section on Saturday 23rd, Amber stayed with us all day making sure everything was okay and checking in on us constantly. She answered all of my hundred silly questions without hesitation and with honesty and reassurance without making me feel silly for asking. Because my c section was later on in the day, Amber made every effort to stay with us for the whole time even hours after her shift had finished. Amber made every part of the birth and experience so much better and I couldn’t have asked for a better midwife to have been with me. As I have seen, Amber is clearly committed and dedicated to her work and you should be extremely proud to have such an amazing midwife in your team. I would also like to say a huge thank you to the whole team in theatre on Saturday. From the moment I walked in, they made me feel more at ease. In particular the anaesthetist and his assistant. They could tell I was extremely nervous and they kept me calm by constantly explaining what they were doing and checking that I was okay throughout. I truly hope this message can be passed on to all the staff on Stanley Clayton, in theatre and especially Amber. You have an amazing team who work extremely hard and I thank every single one of them. Excellent, the maternity team have gone above and beyond for me. My care has been outstanding.

I was really impressed with the whole experience from the start of pregnancy to the birth. I felt tremendously looked after, supported and well informed. I had a midwife led package and they are all true angels. We named our daughters middle name after our midwife Amber as she made the birth so special. It was so nice during Labour, delivery and post birth to have familiar faces, who all felt like close friends looking after us. I also chose to have the post birth visits privately for continuity of care and that was really lovely again to have familiar faces. I will be back when we have our next little one! I really felt sad to be discharged because it was such wonderful care and we loved them all so much! Thank you again for everything.

The midwives and staff at Stanley Clayton were excellent. They provided the greatest support to us during the whole pregnancy, labor & delivery and post partum. We couldn’t be happier with the care we received.

Wonderful I find it a completely welcoming environment where everyone I interacted with was incredibly warm, professional and did their very best to be as helpful as possible.

Everything was good but as a private patient you expect to have halal option in the menu which was not their please add that as well thanks.

The best place in the world. On each visit to the ward, we felt so safe and taken care of. Ww always knew we were in good hands and were grateful for the warmth shown by all staff
