About Portland Hospital for Women and Children Outpatients
The Portland Hospital is the only private hospital in the UK which focuses exclusively on providing healthcare to women and children.
The team at the Portland is made up of over 600 highly-skilled and experienced Consultants and nurses. Our cutting-edge facilities are spread across four sites on Great Portland Street and enable us to provide exceptionally and focused healthcare to our patients within some of the most comfortable surroundings in Greater London.
We are the largest private children’s hospital in the UK and are proud to have a dedicated intensive care unit with 58 paediatric beds and 155 consultant paediatricians. These specialists attend to children of all ages ranging from newborns to adolescents up to the age of eighteen.
The Portland places enormous emphasis on the provision of safe and high-quality care for expectant mothers. We are the only fully private maternity hospital in the UK and over 1,600 babies are delivered by our team each year.
