It was a real pleasure to meet Dr Thing and he quickly put me at ease and was able to provide the level of detail i required to help support his opinion and diagnosis. I had a follow up phone call and he was able to further reassure me and provide more info that will be very helpful in managing my osteoarthritis. Thank you very much.

Dr Thing made sure he had a very thorough understanding of my symptoms and explained the possible causes and treatment options. He sent me for an MRI scan and gave me a very helpful explanation of the findings, and recommended a physiotherapist to aid my full recovery. I am very pleased with all aspects of the diagnosis and treatment I received from Dr Thing.

James is an excellent physician. I can say this with confidence as I am a retired consultant physician myself. I chose a physician in sports medicine as i had previously had such a bad experience with an orthopaedic 18 months ago. everything was explained well; careful examination and wise investigations. James advised an intraarticular injection with steroids which he performed under direct U/S imaging - so different from my last experience when injection performed blind. he informed me that the joint may become temporarily painful and then pain would subside. all of which occurred exactly as he stated. Now I am completely pain free. also gave good advice on excellent physio. have had FU appointment. James is a man I absolutely trust & with whom I have great confidence. since my first meeting I have recommended him to several friends- one was foolish enough NOT to have taken my advice- so may have missed his window of opportunity for early surgical attention. All round truly excellent doctor who I ma so very grateful to have found. I cannot recommend his skill and expertise more highly and am most grateful to have found him
