Jacky completed his MSc in Physiotherapy at the University of Brighton in 2019 after obtaining his BSc (Hons) in Applied Sports and Exercise Science at the University of Edinburgh.
Following his degree, Jacky began his career at King’s College Hospital Trust in London, where he completed various rotations including Musculoskeletal, neurology, Trauma orthopaedics and respiratory. As a result Jacky is adept in a wide range of post-operative treatments and rehabilitation. He has a keen interest in ACL rehab/ post-operative ankle rehab, tendinopathies, chronic lower back pain and hip/groin pathologies. He has a good understanding of the musculoskeletal system and human biomechanics, as well as the way the body responds and adapts to exercise and rehabilitation. Progressive graded exposure to exercise is vital for any rehabilitation programme.
Jacky has a clinical passion for sports injuries and has experience in treating athletes in football and track and field. He enjoys working pitch side and in the clinic for assessment and management for footballers. He has also previously covered indoor and outdoor junior athletics championships. This involved diagnosing and treating acute injuries using manual therapy, tailored exercise prescription/rehabilitation programmes, and advice.
Jacky’s passion is to “re-enable” patients with musculoskeletal disorders, and to provide his patients with the right tools to thrive and to manage future injuries. He believes that a positive attitude is essential to build a good rapport with patients in order to help patients achieve their personal goals.
Jacky keeps active by running, going to the gym and participating in team sports such as hockey/football and squash. Outside of sport, Jacky enjoys food, gaming (Xbox/ Nintendo switch), watching series/films, listening to rock music and going to concerts, and playing the guitar.

Back pain. I could not even tie my shoes when I first came to see Jacky. He is very professional and insightful. I followed his advice over 6 sessions and I was back to doing martial arts within 3 weeks. I am 37 years old. He works mainly via recommending exercises, some manipulation when needed to allow the muscles to respond better to the work outs and finally working also on your mind (I was very grumpy when I saw him first and he helped me take a more optimistic view). For instance he told me that I would be cured in 3 weeks if I followed his advice and I thought it was impossible at first but he was right.

I went to Jacky after a really bad ankle sprain. Honestly, after the very first session Jacky was already a massive help and made such a difference. He is easygoing and very encouraging, making sure he pushes you in all the right ways. His wealth of expertise means you go into each session confident in what you are about to do and come out of it feeling great and confident in yourself. He is naturally very friendly and makes the studio a warm, and vibrant environment and in every session there is clear progression and improvement. I cannot say enough good things about my experience and would thoroughly recommend Jacky for anything.

Jacky was essential for my recovery from an ACL knee surgery rehabilitation - pre and post surgery. My doctor had recommended me to Jackie which in his words was the best physiotherapist and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the great team I had on my side. I am positive that the success of my recovery was in big part due to the great care I got from Jacky as well. When mobility is affected, you often need more than physical therapy and Jacky is great at cheering up his patients, analyzing the emotional, stressful moments to help maximizing the results of his treatment. I could not be more happy to recommend this outstanding professional, wishing that more people know about his capabilities and can have the same “luck” I had myself.

I started seeing Jacky 3 months ago to help with my Achilles tendinopathy and today has been our last session, I am completely pain free! Jacky really cares about his patients and always has a great & positive attitude. He has really helped me understand all the stages of the injury & showed different exercises to strengthen/recover. Thank you Jacky!

Jacky is a very knowledgeable physiotherapist who builds excellent rapport with patients to achieve the best outcomes. It is fantastic to count on him to provide a multidisciplinary treatment approach to our patients both to avoid surgery or to rehab after surgery. A trusted colleague that I recommend for my patients, friends and family alike.

Jacky has worked with us for 3 years; he joined our organisation at a difficult period (during lockdowns, videocalls and social distancing) and has progressed from strength to strength despite the hurdles of working in healthcare in the last few years. He is one of our most Senior and trusted members of staff that engages well with all cohort groups; he has a wide patient group from 5 to 90 years old. Jacky is equally comfortable with a patient on the treatment table as he is with the squat bar, making him an excellent 'all rounder'. Jacky excels taking a patient through the full 'journey' - and will work to the patient's full potential and 'more'. I have seen Jacky grow with many post op patients that can barely move and in a lot of pain to returning to full gym and sport. He is empathetic, patient centred and works well within the team and supporting networks. A pleasure to work with.
