I saw Mr Khan because of a suspected enlarged or inflamed prostate. He was incredibly thorough and carried out various tests (digital examination, urine flow test and a PSA blood test). And MRI was also done and although Mr Khan didn't expect to find anything suspicious, he decided that a prostate biopsy and a cystoscopy (camera inspection of the bladder) should be done. The procedure was explained well and went smoothly, with rapid recovery and very little pain after. I received the results in a face to face consultation within 2 weeks and Mr Khan broke the news that early stage cancer was found in a clear and compassionate manner. He explained the options available to me and gave his recommendation which was to have robotic prostatectomy. I am now in the process of making the necessary arrangements with a surgeon who specialises in this. Despite the upsetting news, I'm extremely grateful for the thorough care and attention Mr Khan gave me which means I now have a very good opportunity to irradiate the cancer before it spreads, and without the need for other treatment which could cause potential side effects. I highly recommend Mr Khan. He is an excellent and caring urologist.

He has a broad range of skills in urology, especially all modalities of operation to treat kidney stones and all the techniques of open, laparoscopic and robotic skills to treat kidney cancers. UrologyI called Azhar couple of times when I was in the operating room and needed an urgent urology input. Despite the disruption, he was very accommodating and prioritised patient care. Azhar is highly skilled Urologist and has easy and reassuring manner. He is always helpful and will do anything to help a colleague if a patient needed his input. He is a true professional and I would highly recommend him.
