Mr Duncan Tennent is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery. He covers all aspects of Shoulder and Elbow surgery including dislocation, arthritis and arthroscopy.
Upon completing medical training at St. Bartholomew's Hospital, Mr Tennent undertook postgraduate training on the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Programme. Following this, he then gained a place on an arthroscopy Fellowship in Virginia and a Complex Shoulder and Elbow Surgery Fellowship in Stanmore, training alongside many orthopaedic experts.
Mr Tennent values medical education highly and is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at St. George's Hospital, where he teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students. He is frequently invited to lecture nationally and internationally on shoulder surgery and has also written a textbook on the subject. Chairing the Board of Surgical Education at the Medical School, Mr Tennent also works as an examiner for the undergraduate medical finals.
