Went to Mr Gill having been diagnosed with a kidney stone by A&E at the local NHS Hospital. Mr Gill explained the issues and options and arranged an accelerated CT scan which was carried out within a week and the results received within a couple of days of the scan. Fortunately the stone had gone and so no further action was required, but this would have taken several weeks more to find out had I stayed within the NHS system

Mr Gill gave me the assurance that the procedure I needed would give me a better quality of life, whilst explaining some of the potential negative outcome. He made me feel at ease and was able to give me a full explanation of what would happen during the operation under local anaesthetic. The follow up was reassuring as well because he explained that I could back to normal life meaning able to get back to swimming, and cycling as well as jogging. Overall a very positive experience.

I had my first consultation with Mr Gill in the May, Mr Gill took the time and care to listen to me and explain what the next steps were. I received my date for an operation in June. On the day of the operation Mr Gill was attentive and explained again what was goi g to happen. The area was a very sensitive area and I have to say his surgical skill was exceptional. I couldn’t have asked for a better result. I had my follow up consultation with everything healing as it should and I have now been discharged. Overall very happy and I would recommend.
