A super surgeon, who put me at ease from the initial consultation to the final appointment. Always friendly, professional and happy to provide the information I required to make my decision about my operation. I have not had an operation before so it was a support to have his positive presence on the morning of the op; afterwards he checked my dressings and provided me with the important aftercare instructions that allowed me to feel confident to go home. All the follow - up appointments were handled in a quick and efficient way. Mr Ray understands a patient’s concerns and always put me at ease. I always felt I was being listened to and if I had any questions , he happily responded to them. My operation - was a great success ! Now, I have had my bunions removed and am on the road to a full recovery. I am delighted with the final results and would definitely recommend Mr Ray to anyone who required this form of surgery.

Mr Pinak Ray was Excellent
4.25
Dr Ray is a fantastic consultant and surgeon, really knows his stuff! I have had surgery on both my feet by him. Waited a year after the first surgery on my left foot then my right. I felt that considering I was going to lose the ability to walk properly for two years I couldn't of been in better hands. Listening to and following through on the advice he had given me helped me to heal quickly. I could run after two years now I am about to start roller skating !

If I could choose a consultant Mr Ray would be my first choice. He obviously is a true gentleman and gains your trust and respect very quickly. He fully explained the implications of my surgery and a realistic outcome. I would not have any issues trusting Mr Ray should I need surgery again. It was a pleasure meeting him.

I had been struggling to walk for a couple of years and with two young sons I just couldn’t keep up. I saw Mr Ray and once it was decided that surgery was the best option he took the time to explain in great detail and gave me realistic expectations as to how long the recovery time would be. His chosen anaesthetist was also excellent taking his time to explain what he was doing and why. The surgery was just over 2 hours and I had no pain whatsoever despite having my heel bone moved and tendon repaired. Each outpatient visit I only saw Mr Ray which was reassuring, he support staff at both hospitals were very kind and helpful. I knew that should I have any problems or questions I could contact Mr Ray for help. Should I have to have the other ankle done in the future I would have no hesitation in requesting Mr Ray as surgeon again. Thank you Mr Ray for everything!

This was my first operation and Mr Ray took the time to explain all my options to help me make the right decision. He was patient and professional at all times. It is now 4 months post op and I've healed remarkable well with minimal scarring much to Mr Ray's credit.
