Mr. Horgan is never in a hurry. You are treated as a person and not an anonymous patient. He is exceptionally kind and personable and he quickly found a solution for my cataract surgery, for which the NHS had rejected me due to postural issues. From my first meeting, all my concerns were waylaid by his careful explanation of what to expect. I simply had no questions to ask him at any stage, as he’s worked for decades on cataracts and he and his team have also fine tuned the post operative procedures. It was a joy to be able to shower, bend over, resume life normally within 24-48 hours of having the procedure. Now, three weeks after the last operation I can see perfectly. In addition I have the Premium lenses which are not available on the NHS, but which mean I no longer need reading or distance glasses. I was not insured, but the overall price was manageable, given the offsetting of the costs of many pairs of new glasses. Mr Horgan calls you two days after your surgery. Then you have a follow up appointment three weeks later. The team at the Battersea Eye clinic are very professional and you are immediately given tea and sandwiches as soon as you’re ready for them after the procedure. In a strange way I shall miss being so cosseted! Full marks to everyone and I highly recommend the team.
Thank you for taking the time to write this lovely informative review, which will help others to know what to expect if they are considering surgery with Mr Horgan. Our aim is to work as a team to provide the best care we can for our patients. Thank you once again.

Clear explanation of the procedure and consequences. Sight much clearer now, much more than expected as gradual deterioration over four years was not perceived to be as great as it in fact was.
Thank you for this lovely review.

I have been so impressed with Mr Horgan. He made me feel like he was really invested in improving my condition and really supported me on my healthcare journey that extended way beyond my eye condition. He puts you at ease immediately and creates the perfect balance of showing empathy whilst focusing on examination and treatment. I’ve told many people about how impressed I have been with him and wouldn’t hesitate at all with seeing him again or recommending him to anyone. I’m hugely grateful to have met him and really appreciate his guidance and advice.
